Bugs Bunny Rocks

Is it wrong to answer your own request? I am delighted at some of the answers to If You could live your life as a Cartoon Character who would it be and why? But no one has even come close to who my cartoon Hero would be. I am of the Warner Brother/Merrie Melodies generation. I grew up watching characters you cannot find on TV today. As you can tell by my title I would be Bugs Bunny in my cartoon life.

If you are not familiar, let me enlighten you! Bugs ( for short) was the slickest rabbit of all time. He has many skills and traits I found admirable as a kid.

He could fool any adversary with his wit and quick costume changes. Smart aleky and cool,Bugs would easliy distract Elmer Fudd from his hunt by dressing as a gal complete with lipstick. Or he would quickly hop down his rabbit hole to come out somewhere else.

Bugs is a world traveler. He is a quick digger and can tunnel his way all over the world (Eh I should have took a left turn at Albuquerque!)

Bugs was also a rabbit of many skills. he could hold any job. Sometimes he was a conductor or a wrestler. Sometimes he was a dancer, opera singer or baseball player. Sometimes he was a waiter or a cook. Just imagine his resume! Once he was even a manicurist for a big red monster! (my favorite by the way!)

I would be very skinny as my diet would consist of carrots!

Bugs was the first rabbit in space. He went to mars to visit with his friend Marvin Martian.

Bugs had many many diverse friends. Daffy duck, Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd to name a few!

So as I have pointed out to you Bugs is the coolest cartoon character of all time. Included below are a few cartoon clips from him and a few of his friends. I finally found tthe clip with Bugs as a manicurist for the big hairy red monster! His name was Gossamer. That was one of my favorites. Check out Wikapedia link below!
